ti 1 ORDINANCE NO. �3 ,Sf 9 2 AN ORDINANCE approving and confirming the assessment and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 662 for 3 the improvement of: 4 BROADWAY from 10th Street to Tower Street TOWER STREET from Broadway to Waverly Avenue 5 WAVERLY AVENUE from Tower Street to north line of Radio Addition 6 by the construction of a 12" water main with hydrant and necessary 7 appurtenances, all in accordance with Resolution No. 6336 of the City of Everett, creating a local improvement district; creating 8 a local improvement district fund‘therefore; and providing for the payment of a part of said improvement by special assessments 9 on the property and in said district under the mode of payment by bonds . The property in the assessment district will be charged 10 with the cost of a 6" water main and hydrant including engineering cost and fixed estimate and in addition lots on Broadway serviced 11 by a 2" water main will be credited with the cost of a 2" water main, the difference between the cost of a 12" water main and 12 hydrant and the cost charged to the Assessment District shall be borne by the City of Everett Water Department. All in accordance 13 with Resolution No. 6336 of the City of Everett levying an assessment on account thereof against the several lots, tracts 14 and parcels of land or other property as shown on said roll, providing for the issuance of bonds therefor, and fixing the date 15 of issue thereof. 16 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: 17 SECTION 1: That the assessment and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 662 for the improvement of: 18 BROADWAY from 10th Street to Tower Street 19 TOWER STREET from Broadway to Waverly Avenue WAVERLY AVENUE from Tower Street to north line of 20 Radio Addition 21 by the construction of a 12" water main with hydrant and necessary appurtenances, all in accordance with Resolution No. 6336 of 22 the City of Everett, all in accordance with Ordinance No. 3834 of the City of Everett, as the same now stands, be, and the same 23 is hereby in all things approved and confirmed. 24 SECTION 2 : That each of the lots, tracts and parcels of land as shown by said roll is hereby declared to be especially 25 benefited by the said improvement in at least the amount charged against the same, and that there is hereby levied an assessment 26 against said lot, tract, and parcel of land, or other property appearing on said roll in the amount finally charged against 27 the same. i 28 SECTION 3: That the , day of /=/Z 3 i 0' r2 y , 1961, is hereby fixed as the date of the issuance of the bonds required 29 to be issued on account of such improvement . 30 SECTION 4: That the sum charged against each lot, tract and parcel of land and other property, or any portion of 31 such sum, may be paid during the thirty-day period following the date of first publication by the Treasurer that such assess- 32 ment has been placed in his hands for collection.
