! 1 M I • , , 1 ORDINANCE NO. 2 AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of the follow- ing described portion of street and alley in the City of Everett, 3 County of Snohomish, State of Washington, to-wit: 4 That portion of Lot 17, Block 775, Plat of Everett Division H lying northwesterly of the 5 following described line: Begin at the inter- section of the east line of Lot 3, Block 775, 6 Stanford Land Company's First Add, with the north line of Laurel Drive as said street is 7 established by deed to the City of Everett and filed in Vol. 139 of Deeds, page 388, Records 8 of the Auditor of Snohomish County, Washington; thence westerly along the north line of said 9 Laurel Drive for 39.0 feet; thence angle right 90°00' for 3 .5 ft . to the point of a tangency 10 of a curve; thence angle right 90°00' to become tangent with a curve to the left; thence along 11 the arc of said curve to the left, whose radius is 88.5 ft . and consuming a central angle of 12 85°21 ' for 131.83 ft. to the P .C. of said curve and the end of this description, together with 13 the south 20 ft. of 32nd St. lying adjacent to the north line of said Lot 17, Block 775, Plat 14 of Everett, Division H. 15 WHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the private property abutting upon the portion of street and alley 16 above described have duly filed their petition with the City Council of Everett praying for the vacation of said portion of 17 street and alley, and 18 WHEREAS, said City Council of the City of Everett did by resolution duly adopted, fix the 14th day of November, 1961, 19 at 10:00 A.M. of said day for the hearing and determination of said petition, and 20 WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of 21 said hearing and the determination of said petition has been given by the City Clerk in the manner prescribed by law, and 22 WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for hearing 23 objections to the vacating of the herein described portion of street and alley were heard and discussed, and 24 WHEREAS, it now appears to the City Council that said 25 petition should be granted subject to certain reservations and exceptions and said City Council does hereby determine to vacate 26 the above described portion of said street and alley subject to certain reservations and exceptions . 27 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: 28 SECTION 1: That the portion of street and alley in the 29 City of Everett, County of Snohomish, State of Washington, described as follows, to-wit: 30 That portion of Lot 17, Block 775, Plat of Everett, 31 Division H, lying northwesterly of the following described line: Begin at the intersection of the 32 east line of Lot 3, Block 775, Stanford Land
