Everett Public Works <br />February 5, 2020 <br />EVERETT SCHOOL DIST 2 <br />4730 COLBY AVE <br />EVERETT WA 98203 <br />RE: STATUS OF YOUR CITY OF EVERETT PERMITS / TEMPORARY CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY <br />SITE ADDRESS: 2514 RAINIER AVE <br />PERMIT B1711-002, NEW 2 STORY CLASSROOM BUILDING - TEMP. CERTIFICATE OF OCCPANCY - expired 9/13/2019 <br />PERMIT B1711-002, RENOVATION OF BUILDING 200, 300,400 —TEMP CERT. OF OCCUPANCY - expired 9/13/2019 <br />Your Temporary Certificate of Occupancy(s) expired on 9/13/2019. You are currently operating your school without a <br />Certificate of Occupancy, which cannot be issued until the requirements listed below are met. <br />These permits are past expiration. Please schedule an inspection or request a permit extension for each permit listed <br />above by 1/28/2020. After this date, work under these permits will no longer be authorized. <br />• Public Works Permit PW1711-004: Request a final landscape approval inspection for the site work at North <br />Middle School <br />As-Builts drawings are required prior to permit final. <br />• Building Permit B1711-002: Areas under construction need to be barricaded from public access. <br />Contractor to install foot/ toe protection, trip hazard at top of stairway stringers at all locations. <br />Post site address on Rainier Ave, as per Fire Dept standard. <br />Request a final approval inspection <br />• Building Permit B1711-003: Request a final approval inspection <br />• Electrical Permit E1711-002: Remove foreign piping system from above dedicated space above panel in the <br />electrical room especially about being a 1CHL1 and 1CHM1. Move fused disconnect from above Kohler panels to <br />allow proper working condition clearance. This inspection excludes the ball field area. <br />Once these requirements have been met, the Public Works, Electrical, and Building permits can be finaled; and the <br />Certificate of Occupancy can be requested and will be eligible for issuance. <br />If work has been completed, request a final inspection within 14 days of the mailing date of this letter. After that time <br />the permit record will be closed without final approval. If at some time in the future you decide to continue with this <br />work you will need to apply for a new permit. <br />Continuing to occupy the building without a Certificate of Occupancy is a violation of the 2015 International Building <br />Code, Section 111.1.
