CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS Do NOT impair accessibility to existing or temporary pedestrian push buttons. City may allow activating pedestrian recall timing or other accommodations during construction. Supplement 1-07.23(1) by adding the following: At Everett and Hewitt Avenue weekday lane closures are restricted as follows: ' 1. Eastbound traffic lane closure restricted from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. 2. Westbound traffic lane closure restricted from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. At West Mukilteo Boulevard weekday lane closures are restricted as follows: ' 1. Northwest bound traffic lane closure restricted from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. 2. Southeast bound traffic lane closure restricted from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Should Contractor find these lane closures too restrictive, Contractor is directed to 1-08.0(2) HOURS OF WORK regarding weekend working hours. Maintain a minimum of one lane remaining open to traffic along Olympic Boulevard, Ridgemont Drive, Pine Street and Wetmore Avenue. If Engineer determines the permitted closure hours adversely affect traffic, the Engineer may adjust the hours accordingly. The Engineer will notify the Contractor in writing of any change in the closure hours. No lane closures will be allowed on a holiday or holiday weekend, or after 12:00 p.m. on a day prior to a holiday or holiday weekend. A holiday weekend is defined as having a holiday fall on Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday. Contractor shall provide a uniformed off-duty Police Officer to control traffic in critical I situations as determined by the Engineer. The uniformed officer shall be paid under contract item "Traffic Control —Off-Duty Police Officer." Contractor shall notify the local Fire, Police and Engineering Departments before , the beginning of each phase of construction so that these agencies may re-route their emergency vehicles around the construction zone. The non-emergency phone number for Everett Police is 258-2484, for Fire Dispatch is 257-8757, and for Public Works Engineering is 257-8800. 111 Contractor shall notify City of Everett Transit at 425-257-8984 and Community Transit at 425-348-7100 of all street closures or delays at least 24 hours in advance to enable rerouting of buses. Contractor shall notify the property owners at least 72 hours in advance to enable them to remove vehicles parked in the vicinity of Work. Towing vehicles shall be the responsibility of the Contractor and no additional payment will be made. Further supplement 1-07.23(1) by adding the following: 1-07.23(1)A General Requirements Traffic The following general requirements apply to all Work on the Project: Prepare and submit to Engineer a Traffic Control Plan in accordance with 1- 10.2(2)TRAFFIC CONTROL PLANS. Refer to 1-08.4(2) SPECIAL CONSTRUCTION CONSTRAINTS regarding construction constraints resulting from traffic control.
