I CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS DIVISION 1 — GENERAL REQUIREMENTS rSupplement Division 1 by adding the following: General Description and Location of Project Work being performed includes furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct approximately 5,500 linear feet of water main other such appurtenances and 1 performing all Work as required by the Contract, in accordance with the Contract Plans and Contract Provisions. The Project is in Everett, Washington, and is generally located along Olympic Boulevard • between Seahurst Drive and Ridgemont Drive, along Ridgemont Drive from Olympic Boulevard to 4420 Ridgemont Drive, along Pine Street between Hewitt Avenue and 25th Street, and along Wetmore Avenue between 7th Street to 10th Street. Standard Specifications (******) All Work under this Contract shall be performed in accordance with the following Specifications except as may be exempted or modified by other sections of these Contract Documents. These Specifications are incorporated by reference, made a part of this Contract and shall control and guide all activities within this Project whether referred to directly, paragraph by paragraph. WSDOT/APWA "2020 Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge and Municipal Construction", as amended, hereinafter referred to as the "Standard Specifications." The Standard Specifications, as modified or supplemented by the Amendments to the Standard Specifications and these Special Provisions, all of which are made a part of the Contract Documents, shall govern all of the Work. The following latest edition of other specifications and standard plans shall apply to the extent to which they are called out in these Plans and Special Provisions. 1. City of Everett "Design and Construction Standards and Specifications", latest edition as found on the Web at"http://everettwa.gov/DocumentCenter/View/243". 2. WSDOT Amendments to the Standard Specifications as found on the Web at ' "http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/Business/Construction/SpecificationsAmendmentsGSPs. htm". 3. "Standard Plans for Road and Bridge Construction", as prepared by WSDOT. 4. "Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD)." 5. APWA Standards. I 6. AWWA Standards. Each Provision of these Special Provisions either supplements, modifies, or replaces the comparable Standard. Specification, or is a new Provision. The deletion, amendment, alteration, or addition to any subsection or portion of the Standard Specifications is meant to pertain only to that particular portion of the section, and in no way should it be interpreted that the balance of the section does not apply.
