This <br />amendment seeks to provide $20,000 in additional funds to extend the support of <br />"Planner on Duty" and special projects assistance through the timeframe necessary to <br />hire and train an Associate Planner (fte) position previously approved by City Council. <br />Project funding is provided by Fund 21 - Planning. <br />Project summary statement: This Amendment will revise the scope to add $20,000 for a <br />total compensation not to exceed $122,000 to continue Planner of the Day and special <br />projects support through the timeframe needed to hire and train an Associate Planner <br />(fte) position. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign <br />Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with LDC Inc to increase <br />the compensation by an additional $20,000 for a total amount not to exceed amount of <br />$122,000. <br />
