initial range of options and schedule. Our team will also develop an online survey linked to the City
landing page and online open house. The survey will be available for approximately one month and help
garner feedback from the public. The feedback will help refine the project goals/vision and gain initial
feedback on a range of solutions and project elements. To reach our broadest audience, the online open
house and survey will be promoted and advertised through the following outlets —Social Media
(Nextdoor, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram), advertised in the Everett Herald and advertised on the
City web pages. The online open house and survey will also be promoted during the first round of
briefings. Graphic materials such as a PDF flyer will be made available to project stakeholders to
promote the project to their stakeholders, for example, local churches, SnoPUD, Kaiser Permanente,
Snohomish County BIKES Club, etc.
Consultant Deliverables:
• Project briefing kit
• Draft and final versions of the online open house, online survey, and a project graphics/flyer
• Draft and final media advertisements.
Task 3 - Alternative Selection Phase Specific Outreach. Update the briefing kit to reflect a narrowing of
alternatives to move to a preferred solution. The briefing kit will also note how the solution reflects
comment feedback and technical data. Assuming the COVID health restrictions are lifted or loosened, it
is assumed that this next stage of outreach could use some in -person outreach. Our team will support
advertising and promotion similar to the initial phase creating a project flyer and advertisements for
inclusion in Social Media and paid media. Flyers with project information will also be made available at
community gathering places such as churches, libraries, farmers' markets, and potentially the planned
National Night Out. The team will support a single public outreach event to support the project. This
event could be a walk and roll event on or near the project corridor including information, hands-on or
tactical urbanism, and information. Project partners will also be invited to participate in the event,
including transit agencies, WSDOT, SnoPUD and local businesses. An event plan would be prepared to
confirm logistics and coordinate the development of materials and site preparation.
Consultant Deliverables:
• Updates to the briefing kit
• Draft and final versions of an event plan
• Draft event download
Task 4 - Summarize outreach. Summarize all outreach events, including events, agency, and community
partner briefings, and comments collected. Include attachments such as the mailing list, specific
comments, graphic materials and flyers, and photos.
Consultant Deliverables:
• Preliminary Draft, Draft, and Final version of the outreach summary and appendices.
Acutanza STS 4/02/2021
