Design includes new bicycle facilities on California Street <br />between Broadway and Maple St; and from the intersection of California St/Maple St <br />to the bicycle trail near US 2 located at Hewitt Ave and Chestnut St <br />Transpo Group USA Inc. was selected through a qualification -based selection process <br />that included advertisement of a Request for Qualifications (RFQ), a detailed review of <br />submitted qualifications and an interview process. Three consultant firms submitted <br />qualifications in response to the RFQ. The qualification statements and the interview <br />results were evaluated and scored by City staff. Transpo Group USA, Inc. was selected <br />as the most qualified firm. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council). <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign the Local Agency A&E Professional Services Consultant <br />Agreement with Transpo Group USA, Inc. for the design of the California Street <br />Pedestrian Bicycle Corridor in the amount of $1,016,564. <br />
