This project will replace the existing 109-year old Reservoir 2 with a new five Million Gallon (MG) storage facility to be located on the property adjacent to existing Res 2. The new storage facility will obviate the need for the existing Reservoir 2, thus eliminating the risk for failure of the western and southern embankments of the reservoir which are in poor condition. The project will also replace old 24-inch transmission lines between existing Reservoir 2 and Reservoir 1 and include the construction of a new 1,200 sf operations/storage building. Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign this Professional Services Agreement with Materials Testing and Consulting, Inc. in the amount of $63,171.00
