I <br /> 1 2. All Crosswalk Line shall be solid white lines, 24"wide, installed in accordance with <br /> 2 City of Everett Standard Drawing No. 721 and shall be Type D extruded plastic <br /> 3 flat line. Spray Type D is not allowed. <br /> I 4 3. All two-way left turn yellow lines and lane lines dividing two opposing directions of <br /> 5 travel shall be Type D plastic flat line. <br /> I <br /> 6 7 4. Profiled plastic Type D material, where called for in the Appendices to the Special <br /> Provisions, shall be used for lane line dividing traffic in the same direction of travel <br /> 8 including plastic skip white lane line, and solid white edge line, or other lines <br /> I9 staked by the Engineer. <br /> 10 5. All white parking lines shall be paint line. <br /> I11 6. All wide line and dotted extension line shall be Type D plastic flat line. <br /> 12 7. Access parking space symbols, arrows, letters, bicycle symbols, and speed hump <br /> I <br /> 13 symbols shall be Type D extruded plastic flat line. Spray Type D is not allowed. <br /> 14 <br /> I15 8-22.3(1) Preliminary Spotting <br /> 16 <br /> 17 Section 8-22.3(1) is supplemented with the following: <br /> I 18 <br /> 19 (.*..,,) <br /> 20 Contractor Surveying — Roadway Striping and Channelization <br /> I 21 <br /> 22 No survey control data or layout will be furnished by the Contracting Agency. <br /> 23 The Contractor shall be solely responsible for detailed documentation (records) <br /> 24 of all existing pavement markings and channelization in the field prior to grinding <br /> 25 operations. This work includes but is not limited to: field notes, sketches, offset <br /> 26 markings on curbs or staking if no curb exists. <br /> 27 <br /> I <br /> 28 The records and offset marking/staking shall be adequate to allow the pavement <br /> 29 markings to be reproduced to a level of accuracy shown below: <br /> 30 <br /> I <br /> 31 Lane widths ±0.1 feet (normal to alignment) <br /> 32 Longitudinal location of arrows and letters ±1.0 feet (parallel to alignment) <br /> 33 Longitudinal location of stop lines ±1.0 feet (parallel to alignment) <br /> ' 34 35 Transverse location of arrows and letters ±0.1 feet (normal to alignment) <br /> Longitudinal location of transitions and tapers±1.0 feet (parallel to alignment) <br /> 36 Pavement marking starts and stops ±1.0 feet (parallel to alignment) <br /> I 37 <br /> 38 The Contractor shall provide copies of any calculations, notes, and layout data <br /> 39 to the Engineer, or their assigned representative, prior to grinding. The <br /> I 40 Contracting Agency will review the provided data, check the existing layout and <br /> 41 provide revisions as necessary for establishment of lane widths, arrow and letter <br /> 42 locations, tapers, transitions, other modifications, and pavement seams. The <br /> I43 Contracting Agency will require up to seven calendar days from the date the <br /> 44 data is received to conduct this review.
