I <br /> CITY OF EVERETT,WASHINGTON <br /> CONTRACT PROVISIONS FOR <br /> 2021 PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE OVERLAY <br /> WORK ORDER 3751 <br /> NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS <br /> Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the 2021 Pavement Maintenance Overlay project will be received at <br /> the Purchasing Counter, 3200 Cedar Street, Door#5, Everett, WA, 98201, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday,April 13, <br /> 2021. The Purchasing Counter is open Monday- Friday,from 8:00am - 3:00pm. At the appointed time, all bids <br /> will be opened and read aloud publicly via webcast only. The link for the webcast is located at <br /> https//www.everettwa.gov/319/purchasing.The engineer's estimate for this Project is$2,700,000. <br /> The work includes, but is not limited to the construction of 17,610 tons of Hot Mix Asphalt, Class%-inch, PG 64- <br /> 22, two inch (2") thick, on selected City Streets, including grinding, utility adjustments, such as manhole, catch <br /> basin, inlet,valve box, monument case and cover, striping, channelization, traffic induction loops. <br /> Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) is provided to <br /> Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and clicking on "Posted Projects", <br /> "Public Works", and "City of Everett". This online plan room provides Bidders with fully usable online <br /> documents with the ability to: download, view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic <br /> sources, and a free online digitizer/take-off tool. It is recommended that Bidders "Register" in order to receive <br /> automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the "Self-Registered Bidders <br /> List". Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically <br /> check the on-line plan room for addenda issued on this project. Contact Builders Exchange of Washington at <br /> (425) 258-1303 should you require assistance with access or registration. <br /> 1 All bids must be made upon the regular forms provided for this purpose and must be accompanied by <br /> a bid bond or certified check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid. <br /> One hundred (100) percent Payment and Performance Bonds will be required of the successful bidder <br /> to guarantee faithful performance of the contract. <br /> The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities or informalities. No bidder may <br /> withdraw his bid after the hour set for the opening thereof. The City further reserves the right to make the bid <br /> award as deemed in the best interest of the City.
