All <br /> I 7 correspondence from the Contractor constituting any notification, notice of protest, notice <br /> 8 of dispute, or other correspondence constituting notification required to be furnished <br /> 9 under the Contract, must be in paper format, hand delivered or sent via mail delivery <br /> I <br /> 10 11 service to the Project Engineer's office. The Contractor <br /> I <br /> 42 43 shall establish, publish, and make known to all employees, procedures for ensuring <br /> immediate removal to a hospital, or doctor's care, persons, including employees, who <br /> 44 may have been injured on the project site. Employees should not be permitted to work <br /> I45 on the project site before the Contractor has established and made known procedures <br /> 46 for removal of injured persons to a hospital or a doctor's care. <br /> 47 <br /> 48 The Contractor shall have sole responsibility for the safety, efficiency, and adequacy of <br /> II <br /> 49 the Contractor's plant, appliances, and methods, and for any damage or injury resulting <br /> 50 from their failure, or improper maintenance, use, or operation. The Contractor shall be <br /> 51 solely and completely responsible for the conditions of the project site, including safety <br /> I52 for all persons and property in the performance of the work.
