SE <br />Plan Check No: C1812-004 <br />RE: Building Permit Review Letter <br />Dear Mr. Harvey, <br />In response to the application for a building permit, the plans have been examined and you are <br />advised that revisions may be necessary before a permit can be issued. Please review and <br />respond to the comments below. <br />1. Please revise the "GENERAL RESIDENTIAL NOTES" sheet. Several items reference the <br />wrong code, the wrong code section, non-existent code sections or are unintelligible. <br />Specifically, Notes 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 25.1, 26, 27, 27.1, 28, 29, 30, <br />and 32. Note number 34 is not applicable to this proiect. <br />P ­.___------ <br />2. Provide thermal break between the slab -on -grade in the lower floor level bathroom and <br />the garage. Show on plans and provide detail. <br />3. Revise detail 4.1 on sheet A5.0 to show thermal break adjacent to load bearing <br />thickened slab, <br />4. Label all rooms with a unique label such as Laundry Room, Bedroom 2, Bedroom 3, <br />Bathroom 1, Bathroom 2 etc. <br />5. Provide minimum 36" landing at the bottom of the exterior stairs. Show on plans. <br />6. The East Elevation drawing shows one window a sliding glass door and a side hinged <br />door at the lower level. The Lower Floor Plans shows two windows and a sliding glass <br />-door. The Upper Floor o sl <br />iding. g[qps doors in the Livin Space.Theeast <br />elevation shows a window in the same location as one of the sliding doors. Please <br />-,Correct.,'.- <br />7. Provide minimum 30 inch clear space over attic access per section R807.1 IRC. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the <br />Building Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections <br />requested.
