SD #07-003,10304 27' Drive SE, Everett, WA
Dear Jane,
I want to thank you for taking the time to discuss this project and based on our conversations, I have
prepared a drainage design to address the runoff from the proposed improvements as follows: (Refer
to attached site plan and details) The geotechnical report prepared by GEO Group NW Inc, shows
the soils to be "course sand to sand" therefore the trench design is based on "sand" for sizing the
trenches.
Front Lot# 1 w/Existing Home Existing home is tied into the detention system of old plat. No
revised detention proposed for this existing lot.
Access Drive to Lot 2: A 2.0 ft wide by 2.0 ft deep gravel filled trench, 14 feet long is proposed to
run along the north side of the driveway with a CB located near the
entrance to address the runoff from the driveway. (See detail)
Sizing: At 120 ft long x 14 ft wide the driveway has an area of 1,680 sf
requiring a trench length of 12.81f (per Table 3-2.2. w/sand) However, we
are providing 14-1f of trench.
Lot #2 Roof Area: Sizing: At 1,600 sf of roof area, (using Table 3-2.2, w/Sand) a 14 ft long by
2-ft wide by 2-ft deep Roof Downspout System is proposed to handle the roof
runoff. (See Roof Trench w/Level Spreader Detail)
I have attached a drainage plan with notes, figures and details for your review. Please review and
contact me at 206-390-8374 if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
"
Richard Deccio P.E.
Deccio Engineering
p AAL
 Ot ASy
z
