The <br />budget for the design phase of this project is $550,000. <br />Project summary statement: <br />This project will address capacity restrictions in the 17th Street Interceptor and will <br />include installation of approximately 1,500 linear feet of new sewer pipe. Additional <br />work will include the analysis of flow control strategies to analyze and address potential <br />impacts downstream. <br />Once the final design is complete, the Public Works Department will bring a funding <br />ordinance for the construction phase to City Council for consideration. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Adopt an Ordinance creating a special improvement project entitled "17th Street <br />Interceptor Upgrades" Fund 336, Program 020. <br />
