Acceptance of Bid <br /> 1. Within 60 days after the opening of Bids, the City will act either to accept <br /> the Bid from the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder, or to reject all Bids. <br /> I The City reserves the right to request extensions of such Bid acceptance <br /> period. The acceptance of a Bid will be evidenced by a written Notice of <br /> Award of Contract delivered in person or by mail to the Bidder whose Bid is <br /> I accepted, together with a request to furnish a performance and payment <br /> bond and evidence of insurance and to execute the Contract set forth in the <br /> Contract Documents. <br /> I 2. Bidder has 14 calendar days after receiving the Notice of Award to submit <br /> the following documents to the City: <br /> a. Two (2) executed copies of the Contract. <br /> I b. Performance and payment bond per SECTION 00 7200 of the <br /> Contract Documents. <br /> c. Certificate of Insurance and additional insured endorsement per, <br /> I SECTION 00 7200 of the Contract Documents. <br /> 3. A Contract shall not be formed until the Contract Documents are signed by <br /> the Mayor. <br /> I <br /> 1.14 TIME OF COMPLETION <br /> IA. The Contractor shall complete the Work on or before the date or dates specified <br /> in Section 00 5213 -AGREEMENT FORM. <br /> I <br /> 1.15 WAGES <br /> IA. All laborers, workmen, or mechanics in each trade or occupation employed in the <br /> performance of the Contract either by Contractor, Subcontractor, or other person <br /> I doing Work shall be paid not less than the prevailing rate of wage as defined in <br /> RCW 39.12.010.
