I <br /> City of Everett 00 2213 - 1 <br /> I <br /> 2021 Trickling Filter Media Replacement UP 3742-3 <br /> ISECTION 00 2213 - SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS <br /> I <br /> 1.1 GENERAL <br /> A. It is the intent of City to award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible <br /> I Bidder. Before award, the Bidder must also meet the supplemental bidder <br /> responsibility criteria listed below. Further, the apparent low Bidder and second <br /> apparent low bidder must submit the Bidder Qualification Statement (Section 00 <br /> I 4513) and any other documentation listed below to the City within one business <br /> day after the bid opening, unless the City's project manager, in writing, allows <br /> additional time. The City reserves the right to require such documentation from <br /> 1 other bidders also. <br /> I1.2 SUPPLEMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY CRITERIA <br /> A. Experience <br /> I 1. Criteria: <br /> a. The Bidder must have successfully completed at least three (3) Similar <br /> Projects within the ten (10) years prior to bid opening. <br /> l b. The Bidder's project manager for the Project must have successfully <br /> supervised to completion at least three (3) Similar Projects within the <br /> ten (10) years prior to bid opening. <br /> I c. The Bidder's superintendent for the Project must have successfully <br /> supervised to completion at least three (3) Similar Projects within the <br /> ten (10) years prior to bid opening <br /> I d. The Bidder's principal foreman for the Project must have successfully <br /> supervised to completion at least three (3) Similar Projects within the <br /> ten (10) years prior to bid opening. <br /> I 2. Definition of Similar Project: <br /> a. A "Similar Project" means a project that meets all of the following <br /> requirements: <br /> 1) Awarded total contract value of at least $1,000,000 dollars. <br /> 2) Work involving the construction of large infrastructure <br /> components within a Wastewater of Water Filtration facility <br /> I 3) Work which included the need for hoisting and craning of large <br /> infrastructure components. <br /> 3. Documentation: The Bidder shall submit the Bidder Qualification Statement <br /> I as provided in Section 00 4513. The City may also use independent <br /> sources of information that may be available to demonstrate whether the <br /> Bidder is in compliance with these criteria. <br /> I 4. Evaluation: In evaluating whether these criteria are met, the City may check <br /> references for the previous projects and may evaluate the project owner's <br /> assessment of the Bidder's performance, including but not limited to the <br /> I <br /> following areas: <br /> I00 2213 - 1 SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS <br />
