Phase 4 — Construction Engineering
Construction Engineering includes the tasks of addressing contractor questions or field modifications, and
the field inspection and monitoring of construction activities. High level tasks are outlined below, but
detailed costs are not included at this time. The cost of construction engineering is anticipated to be
included in the grant funding requests for the construction phase of the project. Construction engineering
costs will be updated in a future amendment, and a more detailed scope provided when previous design
phases have been completed and more details of the project are known.
Task 4-1 — Project Management
The tasks, roles and expectations for Task 4-1 are the same as for Task 1-1. The following additional
meet is anticipated for Task 4-1:
1. Pre-construction conference
The scope does not anticipate Transpo Group's participation at weekly construction field meetings. A
representative of KBA, Inc. will participate in construction field meetings at the City's request.
Task 4-2 — Construction Engineering
KBA, Inc. will provide field inspection and construction engineering for the City, in compliance with the
requirements for a federally-funded project. Details of KBA, Inc.'s scope will be developed following
completion of Phase 1 as more is known about the final form of the project.
transpoaroup 'r Page 16
