n - 1 ORDINANCE NO. 2 AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of the following described portion of street and alley in the City of Everett, 3 County of Snohomish, State of Washington, to-wit: 4 A portion of Wood Place in the northeast quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 36, T 29 N, 5 R 4 EWM described as follows : Commencing at the center of Section 36; thence S 89°59'25" West 6 along the north line of said NE* SW;—, for 487.17 ft ., to the SWly r/w margin of Wood Place; thence S 7 33°50 ,58" E for 386.04 ft. to T.P.O.B. ; thence angle left for 7°52103" to become tangent to curve; 8 thence on a curve to the left having a radius of 276.24 ft . , and consuming an angle of 24°33 '19" for 9 118.39 ft . ; thence N 82°01 '59" W for 54.29 ft. ; then N 33°50'58" W for 74.10 ft . , to T.P.O.B. 10 and declaring an emergency to eiist. WHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the private 11 property abutting upon the portion of street and alley above described have duly filed their petition with the City Council 12 of Everett praying for the vacation of said portion of street and alley, and 13 WHEREAS, said City Council of the City of Everett did by 14 resolution duly adopted, fix the 18th day of October, 1961, at 10:00 A.M. of said day for the hearing and determination of 15 said petition, and 16 WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of said hearing and the determination of said petition has been 17 given by the City Clerk in the manner prescribed by law, and 18 WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for hearing objections to the vacating of the herein described portion of street and 19 alley were heard and discussed, and 20 WHEREAS, it now appears to the City Council that said petition should be granted subject to certain reservations and 21 exceptions and said City Council does hereby determine to vacate the above described portion of said street and alley 22 subject to certain reservations and exceptions . 23 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: 24 SECTION 1: That the portion of street and alley in the City of Everett, County of Snohomish, State of Washington, 25 described as follows, to-wit: 26 A portion of Wood Place in the northeast quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 36, T 29 N, R 4 EWM 27 described as follows: Commencing at the center of Section 36• thence S 89°59'25" W along the north line 28 of said NE* SW* for 487.17 ft ., to the SWly r/w margin of Wood Place; thence S 33'50158" E for 386.04 ft. 29 to T.P.O.B. ; thence angle left for 7°52 '03" to become tangent to curve; thence on a curve to the left having 30 a radius of 276.24 ft ., and consuming an angle of 24°33 '19" for 118.39 ft . ; thence N 82°01 '59" W for 31 54.29 ft . ; then N 33°50, 58" W for 74.10 ft . to T.P .O.B. 32 be, and the same is hereby vacated and the title to said portion of street and alley above described is hereby declared vested in
