• • . 1 1 ORDINANCE NO. 3841 2 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY O EVERETT. 3 4 WHEREAS, pursuant to petition, the Commissioners of Snohomish County, Washington, did hold a special election on 5 the 19th day of September, 1961, on the proposition of the annexation of certain property to the City of Everett, and 6 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have entered 7 a finding concerning the canvassing and return of vote on said issue and filed a certified copy of such findings with the 8 City Clerk of the City of Everett together with a certified abstract of the vote showing the whole number who voted at the 9 election, the number of votes cast for annexation and the number cast against annexation, and 10 WHEREAS, said certified abstract shows 280 votes 11 for annexation and 159 votes against annexation, and 12 WHEREAS, the City Commissioners of the City of Everett desire to annex said territory to the City of Everett . 13 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: 14 SECTION 1: That the property hereinafter described be, 15 and the same is hereby annexed on the 1st day of December` , 19 61 to the City of Everett, a municipal corporation: 16 Beginning at the intersection of the east and west 17 center line of Sec . 12 T 28 N, R 4 EWM with the W line of Lots 42 and !-3 of Beverly Acreage Tracts, 18 extended Sly in their present platted direction; th in a Nly direction and following the existing corporate 19 limits of the City of Everett as of this date to an intersection of the V line of Sec . 36, T 29 N, R 4 20 EWM, produced Nly, with the N line of Sec . 19, T 29 N, R 5 EWM produced Wly; th Wly along the N line of 21 said Sec . 19, T 29 N, R 5 EWM produced westerly to an intersection with the W line of Sec . 34, T 29 N, 22 R 4 EWM produced Nly; th Sly along the i line of said Sec . 34 and said W line produced Nly to an intersection 23 of the said W line of Sec . 34, T 29 N, R 4 EWM with the Ely corporate limit line of .the Town of Mukilteo; th 24 in a generally Sly direction and following the exist- ing corporate limits of the Town of Mukilteo as of this 25 date and along the W line of Sec . 10, T 28 N, R 4 EWM to an intersection with the N line of the Mukilteo 26 Heights Community Club, Inc .
