The estimated cost for the design phase of this project is $1,100,000. Project summary statement: In January of 2019, Public Works began a maintenance assessment of Reservoir No. 3 which was to include three maintenance projects. During the preliminary work, it was discovered that much of the facility needed significant structural repairs beyond the scope of a maintenance project This ordinance will provide funding for the design phase of the improvement project. Upon completion of design, Public Works will return with a new ordinance that will include construction funding for Council consideration. Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): Adopt an Ordinance creating a special improvement project entitled “Reservoir No. 3 Structural Improvements” Fund 336, Program 016.
