emerging "tropicalismo" landscape design concepts described by Ann Lovejoy in Naturalistic
Gardening.
Conclusions: The proposed landscaping provides a unique setting with exotic landscaping
not generi lly found in the northwest, as well as plants frequently grown in the region. The
unusual landscape design is consistent with modern landscape architectural forms emerging in
the northwest.
