If the Contractor is unable to settle a dispute to the satisfaction of a customer,the <br /> matter shall be referred to Parks and Parks shall have the right to make such <br /> adjustments as it may deem proper. <br /> 12. City Responsibilities <br /> a. The City is responsible for establishing major operating policies, such as the <br /> green fees rate schedule and hours of operation. <br /> b. If the Contractor desires that a City policy be amended, a written request must be <br /> submitted to the Director. <br /> D. FOOD AND BEVERAGE OPERATION <br /> 1. Contractor Staff Functions <br /> a. Contractor Staff Duties and Responsibilities <br /> All Contractor staff will discharge their responsibilities consistent with the <br /> requirements and conditions of this contract and with City policies and <br /> procedures. These responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: <br /> 1) Restaurant marketing activities including but not limited to menus, <br /> pricing,banquet services, and making recommendations regarding <br /> hours of operation. <br /> 2) Cleanliness and maintenance of the facility. <br /> 3) Customer relations. <br /> 4) Daily revenue collection and reconciliation. <br /> 5) Maintenance of the appropriate beverage license(s). <br /> 6) Maintenance of required food handlers' and beverage servers' <br /> licenses. <br /> 2. Personnel Supervision <br /> a. Employ a food and beverage manager to oversee operations at both golf courses <br /> and. The food and beverage manager will be in charge of daily food and <br /> beverage operations at the courses as well as meal coordination for outings, <br /> tournaments and special events. General and specific responsibilities are <br /> identified in Exhibit A. <br /> 3. Restaurant <br /> a. Maintain a well-planned menu designed to optimize sales volume as well as <br /> profit margins, offering dining commensurate with the wants and desires of <br /> customers while enhancing golfers' experience. <br /> 9 <br />
