Work with the City and Parks to establish goals and objectives for the golf <br /> program. <br /> b. Create a productive partnership structure with the City and Parks to <br /> promote open communication and feedback regarding issues, concerns, <br /> obstacles and opportunities facing the golf program. <br /> c. Develop recommendations for potential improvements/solutions and <br /> advocate preferred alternatives. <br /> 2. Golf Courses <br /> a. Recruit and hire all staff. <br /> b. Oversee the installation of all Point of Sale and Management Information <br /> Systems. <br /> c. Coordinate the training and orientation of all personnel in the proper <br /> operation of the courses and all related systems and procedures. <br /> d. Institute and oversee golf car operation and maintenance procedures. <br /> e. Oversee the implementation of a quality Player Assistance (Marshaling) <br /> program. <br /> f. Oversee the development of score cards. <br /> 3. Pro Shop Operations <br /> a. Oversee and train personnel in proper pro shop operations including but <br /> not limited to the following: <br /> 1) Tee time reservations and starting. <br /> 2) Merchandise purchasing and sales. <br /> 3) Safeguarding of inventory. <br /> 4) Customer service techniques. <br /> b. Institute teaching programs to maximize instruction utilizing course <br /> resources. <br /> 1 <br />
