pue is woRirs � <br />FIRE SPRINKLER (13, 13R & 13D SYSTEMS) AND CHEMICAL <br />SUPPRESION SUBMITTAL CHECKLIST <br />PERMIT SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS: <br />1. Three complete sets of plans, cut sheets, and calculations. <br />2. Maximum size of plan sets: 42" long, 30" wide (bound edge), 5/8" thick. All <br />pages in a plan set shall be uniformly sized. <br />3. Completed Permit Application. <br />4. All documents must be clearly legible for microfilming, each page consecutively <br />numbered and stapled. <br />1. WATER SUPPRESSION <br />A. Name of owner and occupant. Location, including street address. North arrow. <br />B. Drawings and calculations to be stamped by a WSP certificate of competency holder; <br />permit to be installed by a WSP certificate of competency holder. <br />C. Ceiling construction, building sections, location of fire walls, location of partitions, use of <br />each area or room, location and size of concealed spaces, attics, closets and bathrooms, <br />and any small enclosures in which no sprinklers are to be installed. <br />D. Size of city main in street, pressure and whether dead-end or circulating. If dead-end, <br />direction and distance to nearest circulating main. Include city main tests results and <br />elevation of test hydrant. <br />E. Make, manufacturer, type, hear -response element, temperature rating and nominal orifice <br />size of sprinkler. Temperature rating and location of high -temperature sprinklers. <br />F. Number of sprinklers on each riser, per floor. Kind and location of alarm bells. <br />G. Type of pipe and fittings. Type of protection for nonmetallic pipe. Nominal pipe size with <br />lengths shown to scale. Location and size of riser nipples. Type of fittings and joints. Types <br />and locations of hangers, sleeves, braces and methods of securing sprinklers, where <br />applicable. <br />H. Cut sheet and model number for double check detector assembly, or riser diagram per <br />Drawing Standard 5248. All control valves, check valves, drain pipes and test <br />connections. <br />I. Underground pipe size, length, location, weight, material, pint of connection to city main; <br />the type of valves, meters and valve pits; and the depth at which the top of the pipe is laid <br />below grade. This is required for all systems including combined domestic systems. <br />J. For hydraulically designed systems, a representation of the hydraulic data nameplate and <br />its proposed location. <br />II. CHEMICAL SUPPRESSION <br />A. Name of owner and occupant. Location, including street address. North arrow. <br />B. Number of chemical suppression heads, located in section or axonometric over the <br />equipment served by suppression. Identification of the type of equipment on the drawings. <br />C. Chemical suppression used for each application, to include classification and <br />specifications. <br />D.
