We understand that you propose to expand an existing single-family residence by replacing backyard space north of the garage with a rectangular, interior addition that is approximately 264 square feet in size. PROJECT SITE DESCRIPTION The project site is located on the north side of 571h St SW and west of the intersection with 25th Ave in the Stratton Hill neighborhood of Everett, Washington. The general location of the site is illustrated in Plate 1— Site Location Map. The existing single-family residence is two stories and approximately 3,200 square feet in size. A 780 square feet, south -facing garage is attached to the southeast corner of the main floor, and the property is located on relatively flat ground. The proposed addition is rectangular in shape and with dimensions of I 1 feet by 24 feet. The addition is proposed to be built directly behind the existing garage and will open to the southeast wall of the main floor. The project site is not located in an environmental critical area (ECA).
