Please review and respond to the comments below.
1. Per Department of Social and Health Services and Building Inspector
purposes, please complete the required portions (Sections 1, 2, 3, 4 of the Adult
Family Home Local Building Inspection Checklist) as this appears to be missing
from the submittal. This checklist is available via the handout on Adult Family
Homes on the City of Everett Permit Services webpage under the Checklists and
Handouts subheading. Please note that Item 3 of this checklist requires 8.5 x 11
sheets of the floor plans. These 8.5 x 11 floor plan sheets should have readable
notes and labelling. Reduced sizes of the larger size floor plans are not
accepted as these often reduce the readability of the plan notes and callouts.
In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary
to provide the Building Division with two new sets of revised construction
documents reflecting the corrections requested. Please include a response
letter indicating how the corrections were resolved.
All codes cited refer to the 2015 International Residential Code (IRC), 2015
International Building Code (IBC), 2015 International Existing Building Code
(IEBC), the 2015 International Fire Code (IFC), the 2015 International
Mechanical Code (IMC), and/or the 2015 Washington State Energy Code
(WSEC), as amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the City of
Everett. The current IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the 2009
"Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities" ([CC/ANSI A117.1). Federal ADA
regulations and standards may be more restrictive.
