We received a complaint about construction activity being conducted without required permits. <br /> 2. Records indicate that the property has been condemned ordered vacated, and that no valid permits have been <br /> issued. <br /> 3. Our inspection on Friday revealed that significant construction activity is currently being conducted including, <br /> Electrical alterations and installations, Plumbing alterations and installations, Mechanical alterations and <br /> installations,structural and construction alterations and modifications are well underway.All of this work is being <br /> done without required permits and inspections, contrary to Code and Hearing Examiners order of record. IRC <br /> R105.1 and HE order#CE18-0104 <br /> 4. A Stop Work Order was posted on the front door of the premises 07/12/2019 PM. R114 for the Unlawful Acts being <br /> conducted, R113.1 and IPMC 106 <br /> 5. Photos were taken of the construction activities and have been added to the record. <br /> 6. The construction activity being conducted at the property has dislodged building elements believed to contain <br /> asbestos into the environment.This activity may be posing a hazard to workmen including city staff and <br /> surrounding areas. The Department of Labor and Industries has been asked to investigate this concern. <br /> 7. The Electrical activities are being conducted in an Unlawful and Unsafe manner.
