f • ORDINANCE NO. 3820 AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as provided by Ordinance No. 3572 of the City of Everett, also known as Everett City Code 15 .O4.040, entitled: "An Ordinance regulating and restricting the location and use of buildings and land within the City of Everett; limiting the heighth of buildings; prescribing building lines and size of yard and other open spaces; providing for the division of the City into use zones; creating a Board of Adjustment; and providing for penalties for violation of the Ordinance . " WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, upon the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Everett, has determined that the area hereinafter described should be rezoned and such rezoning will be harmony with the Comprehensive Plan of Land Use for the City of Everett, and declaring an emergency. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Everett does hereby find that the changes hereinafter set forth are for the best interests of the City of Everett and in harmony with the Comprehensive Plan of Land Use for the City. Section 2: That the zone map of the City of Everett, also designated as ,`use map" of the City of Everett, as estab- lished by Section 4 of Ordinance No . 3572, also known as Everett City Code 15 .04.040, is hereby amended as follows: The west side of Colby in the 3300 Block, being Lots 23 to 32, Block 3, Climax Land Company 1st Addition to Everett, be and the same is hereby changed from Residential 2 to Residential 4 zone . That any and all parts of Lots 10 through 17, Block 181, Swalwell ' s 4th Addition that are presently zoned 'B=2, will be and are hereby rezoned to Residential 2 zone . Section 3: That the official zone map shall, upon the passage of this Ordinance, be amended by the City Clerk, as hereinabove provided, and henceforth said property shall be used in accordance with the zone in which the same is now established, all as provided by Ordinance No . 3572 of the City of Everett, also known as Everett City Code 15 .04.040.
