: ORDINANACE NO. 3818 AN ORDINANCE annexing certain property to the City of Everett in compliance with Chapter 128 of the laws of the State of Washington, 1945, as amended, and declaring an emergency to exist. WHEREAS, a petition in writing signed by the owners of more than seventy-five (750) in value acoording to the assessed valuation for general taxation of the property for which annex- ation was petitioned, which petition set forth a description of the property according to governmental legal subdivisions and legal plats and which petition was accompanied by a plat and drawing which outlined the boundaries of the property sought to be annexed, has been filed with the City Commissioners of the City of Everett, a municipal corporation, and WHEREAS, the Commissioners of the City of Everett, a municipal corporation, did fix the 20th day of March, 1961, for hearing upon said petition and caused notice of hearing to be published in one issue of the Everett Daily Herald, a newspaper of general circulation in the city, and caused said notice also to be posted in three (3) places within the territory proposed for annexation, which notice as published and as posted specified the time and place of hearing and invited interested persons to appear and voice approval or disapproval of the annexation, and WHEREAS, following the hearing the Commissioners of Everett, a municipal corporation, have determined to annex all of the property described in the petition as hereinafter set forth. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN : Section 1 : That an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publi- cation. Section 2: That the property hereinafter described be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Everett upon the date of the passage and publication of this ordinance: Begin at the intersection of the east margin of P.S.H. No. 1 with the south line of the corporate limits of the City of Everett, Washington, as described in Ordinance No. 3762 of said City; thence north 56°24'45" west across P.S.H. No. 1 to the west property line of said P.S.H. No. 1, th northeasterly and following the west property line of P.S.H. No. 1 to an intersection with the south boundary of Beverly Home Tracts, Div. No. 2, th N 89°16 '44" West along the south boundary of Beverly Home Tracts Div. No. 2 to a point 400 ft. from, measured at right angles to, the northwesterly margin of P.S.H. No. 1; th angle left 58°24'04" to become a tangent with a curve to the right, th along said curve to the right having a radius of 2) 14.93 ft. and consuming a central angle of 1°17 '03" for 54.13 ft. , th. S 33°35 ' l5" W parallel to said P.S.H. No. 1 to a point on a line that is parallel to the south boundary of Beverly Home Tracts Div. No. 2 and distant 410 ft. southerly of said south boundary of Beverly Home Tracts, Div. No. 2 as measured along the northwesterly margin of P.S.H. No. 1,
