1 _ ORDINANCE NO. =j ✓ " AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of: PINE STREET from 19th St. to Everett Ave. by the construction of an asphaltic concrete pavement, 36 ft. in width, by the construction of Portland cement concrete curbs and gutters on both. sides of the street, by the construction or reconstruction, where necessary, of all drainage facilities, sewers, side sewers, sidewalks, water mains and hydrants, with necessary appurtenances, by such grading or regrading as may be necessary and doing such other work as may be necessary in connec- tion therewith to make a complete improvement, all in accordance with plans to be prepared by the City Engineer. The City of Everett will excavate the roadway, place and rough grade all the gravel backfill (Selected Roadway Borrow) , and the Local Improve- ment District will do all the other work, including furnishing and placing crushed stone surfacing, rolling and fine grading to prepare the road for the placing of the asphaltic concrete pavement. All in accordance with Resolution No. 6304 of the City of Everett, creating a Local Improvement District; creating a Local Improvement District fund therefor; and providing for the payment of said improvement by special assessments on the property in said district under the mode of payment by bonds. WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 6304 of the City of Everett the City Council has declared its intention to order the improve- ment as above outlined and doing all work in connection therewith to make a complete improvement in accordance with the plans and specifications of the City Engineer of the City of Everett; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That an improvement be made of: PINE STREET from 19th St. to Everett Ave. by the construction of an asphaltic concrete pavement, 36 ft. in width, by the construction of Portland cement concrete curbs and gutters on both sides of the street, by the construction or reconstruction, where necessary, of all drainage facilities, sewers, side sewers, sidewalks, water mains and hydrants, with necessary appurtenances, by such grading or regrading as may be necessary and doing such other work as may be necessary in connec- tion therewith to make a complete improvement, all in accordance with plans to be prepared by the City Engineer, which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approved.
