EVERETT WASHINGTON ORDINANCE NO. 3818-21 An ORDINANCE creating the special construction fund entitled "Madison Morgan Park Improvements," Fund 354 Program 063,to Accumulate the Construction Costs in the Amount of $315,000. WHEREAS, A. The City Council recognizes the need to further develop the Madison Morgan Park as a passive native park. B. The City Council recognizes the need to expand the trail system, improve native vegetation by removing invasive underbrush, and planting native plants. C. The City Council recognizes the need for minor amenities such as a central meeting area and picnic benches. D. The City Council recognizes the need for other minor improvements such as trail bollards, fence repairs and native plant interpretive signs. E. The City Council recognizes the need to renovate the rental house that is located within the park. NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1.A special construction fund is hereby entitled "Madison Morgan Park Improvements," Fund 354 Program 063. Section 2. Authorization is hereby granted to the Parks and Facilities Director under the administration of the Mayor,to assume full responsibility for conducting all tasks and performing all necessary steps to accomplish the actions authorized by this Ordinance. Section 3. The estimated cost of the project is$315,000.00 including costs related to construction. Section 4: The sum of$315,000.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 354 Program 063, "Madison Morgan Park Improvements." A. Use of Funds Construction $315,000 Total $315,000 B.
