However, the submitted documents are not sufficient
for us to perform a review at this time. Construction-level documents need to be submitted for review. The
drawings should include all levels of the house, including those that are not being modified. The construction
drawings should include both existing/demolition drawings and drawing showing the modified
layout. Information is attached to provide guidance. Depending on your experience with the model codes
and preparing documents, we recommend consulting with a design professional to assist you.
The project appears to include structural design by an engineer. The construction drawings should be
stamped by the engineer per WAC 308-12-081. The seal should be applied using an ink stamp, not an imprint
as this cannot be scanned or reproduced.
Review of your project will be performed in the order received once the required documentation has been
submitted. Please let me know if you have questions.
Drew Martin, P.E.,S.E.
mAssociate Engineer—Commercial Plans Examiner I Permit Services ,
425.257.8813 13200 Cedar Street, 2nd Floor, Everett,WA 98201
EVERETT Hours: M/W/Th/F: 7:30am-12:O0pm & 1:00pm-3:00pm;Tu: 1:OOpm-3:OOpm
everettwa.gov I Facebook I Twitter
COVID-19 Update: Please reference our website& online resources for updates to our service during the
COVID-19 pandemic.
