:410 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE providing for the allocation of additional <br /> funds to cover unanticipated expenditures for the Miscellaneous <br /> Department for the year 1960 as follows : <br /> Special Election $4,200.00 <br /> and declaring an emergency to exist. <br /> WHEREAS, it could not have been anticipated at the time <br /> of the making of the budget for the year 1960 that it would be <br /> necessary to call a special election for the purpose of filling <br /> a vacancy for position of Commissioner of Finance; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1 : That an emergency is hereby declared to <br /> exist and the sum of $4,200.00 is hereby allocated from the <br /> Current Expense Fund to cover expenditures hereinafter set forth <br /> in addition to those provided for in the budget for the year 1960, <br /> to-wit, <br /> MISCELLANEOUS DEPARTMENT <br /> Special Elections $4,200.00 <br /> Section 2 : That such sum shall be paid by the issuance <br /> of warrants or emergency warrants drawn by the proper officer <br /> of the City of Everett as provided by law and charged to the <br /> Miscellaneous Department. <br /> CITY OF EVERETT, WASHINGTON <br /> / <br /> ) f <br /> By /2'7 <br /> -DY 0 R <br /> Attest: <br /> /i, 4c <br /> C' t77 <br /> Clerk <br /> Passed: DEC 2 1960 <br /> DEC 21 1960 <br /> Published: <br />
