(1.24.220) SECTION 47: The City Commissioners of the City of Everett hereby find that greater performance and efficiency can be secured from the city employees who have adequate medical care furnished on a uniform basis and that it is for the best interest of the City to furnish medical care as a part of the consideration of employment. (1.24.230) SECTION 48: The City Commissioners of the City of Everett hereoy provide, as part of the compensation to be paid all city employees of the City of Everett, except policemen, firemen and temporary employees, a prepaid medical plan, the same or similar to the plan of medical coverage now being furnished said city employees by the City of Everett under terms of a contract with the Snohomish County Beneficial Association, for the year 1961 to be determined by the City Commissioners of the City of Everett. (1.24.240) SECTION 49: That Ordinance No. 3740 and all ordinances in conflict herewith of the City of Everett, and all amendments thereto, be, and the same are hereby repealed.
