, <br /> One City Engineer; one Office Engineer; one <br /> Construction Engineer; two Senior Engineers; <br /> two Assoc. Engineers; one Asst. Engineer; five <br /> Junior Engineers; two Senior Engineering Aides; <br /> five Engineering Aides; one Clark; and one or <br /> more Inspectors. <br /> Said officers, assistants and employees shall perform such duties <br /> indicated by the name of their respective employment and such <br /> other duties as the City Engineer shall from time to time <br /> authorize and direct. (1.16.190) <br /> SECTION 18-A: PLANNING DEPARTMENT <br /> The Planning Department shall be a sub-department of <br /> the Engineering Department. There shall be the following named <br /> officers and employees in the Planning Department, to-wit: <br /> One Planning Engineer. <br /> It shall be the duty of such employee to perform such duties <br /> indicated by the name of his employment, and such other duties as <br /> the Commissioners of the City of Everett may authorize and direct. <br /> All Employees shall be considered under civil service as civil <br /> service employees of the Engineering Department and shall lose no <br /> rights by advancement to this department. (1.16.191) <br /> SECTION 18-B: TRAFFIC ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT. <br /> The Traffic Engineering Department shall be a sub- <br /> department of the Engineering Department. There shall be the <br /> following named officers and employees in the Traffic Engineering <br /> Department, to-wit: <br /> One Traffic Engineer. <br /> It shall be the duty of such employee to perform such duties <br /> indicated by the name of his employment, and such other duties as <br /> the Commissioners of the City of Everett may authorize and direct. <br /> All employees shall be considered under civil service as civil <br /> service employees of the Engineering Department and shall lose no <br /> civil service rights by advancement to this department. <br /> (1.16. 192) <br /> SECTION 19: SEWER DEPARTMENT <br /> There shall be the following named officers and <br /> employees of the Sewer Department, to-wit: <br /> One Foreman; one Heavy Equipment Operator; and <br /> one Truck Driver. <br /> The City Engineer shall be in general charge and have supervision <br /> of the Sewer Department. All officers, assistants and employees <br /> shall perform such duties as pertain to the nature of their <br /> employment and as authorized and directed by the City Engineer. <br /> (1.16.200) <br /> SECTION 20: INSPECTION DEPARTMENT <br /> There shall be the following named officers and <br /> employees in the Inspection Department, to-wit: <br /> One Building Inspector; one Electrical Inspector; <br /> one Plumbing Inspector; one Office Helper (part <br /> time) . <br /> - 5 - <br />
