ORDINANCE NO. 3794 <br /> AN ORDINANCE providing for the allocation of additional <br /> funds to cover unanticipated expenditures in the Street Painting <br /> Department for the year 1960. <br /> WHEREAS, the expenditures in the Street Painting <br /> Department for salaries, wages, paint, signs and posts has <br /> exceeded the amount anticipated, and <br /> WHEREAS, said excess expenditures could not reasonably <br /> • have been foreseen at the time of the making of the budget for <br /> the year 1960; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN : <br /> Section 1: That an emergency is hereby declared to <br /> exist and that the following sums are hereby allocated to the <br /> Street Painting Department which, shall be in addition to that <br /> amount provided for in the budget for the year 1960, to-wit, <br /> Maintenance and Operation, <br /> Paint, Signs and Posts s8o0.00 <br /> Salaries and Wages 3400.00 <br /> Section 2: That there is hereby appropriated out of <br /> the current expense fund of the City of Everett the sum of <br /> $1,200.00, which sum shall be paid by the issuance of warrants <br /> drawn by the proper officers of the City of Everett as provided <br /> by law. <br /> CITY OF EVERETT, WASHINGTON <br /> By //' / / <br /> / <br /> M A Y O R <br /> Attest: <br /> Passed: Nov. 1, 1960 <br /> Published: Nov. 2, 1960 <br />
