STORMWATER SITE PLAN FEBRUARY 26, 2018 <br />MUKILTEO SCHOOL DISTRICT- TRANSPORTATION PAGE 3 <br />MR2: CONSTRUCTION STORMWATER POLLUTION PREVENTION <br />Construction stormwater pollution prevention plan will be prepared for review and approval as <br />part of the construction drawing submittal phase. <br />1. CONSTRUCTION STORMWATER POLLUTION PREVENTION ELEMENTS <br />A Construction Storm water Management Plan has been prepared as part of the construction <br />drawings and is submitted for review and approval by the City of Everett. The 13 Required <br />Elements are addressed as follows: <br />Element #1: Preserve Vegetation/Mark Clearing Limits <br />The construction plans will delineate the limits of the clearing for the site. These will be located <br />in the field prior to clearing taking place. <br />Element #2: Establish Construction Access <br />The project will take stabilized access from the existing bus parking area. <br />Element #3: Control Flow Rates <br />The project is minor and control of flow rates is not required. <br />Element #4: Install Sediment Controls <br />A construction sequence on the plans includes installation of erosion control measures. <br />Element #5: Stabilize Soils <br />In planting areas the exposed soils will be stabilized with topsoil and seeding. Road areas <br />stabilized by BMP C107 through the placement of roadway base. Temporary stockpiles will be <br />covered with plastic. <br />Element #6: Protect Slopes <br />There are no natural, steep slopes on the property. The final slopes will be stabilized with a <br />wall. <br />Element #7: Protect Drain Inlets <br />Local catchbasins subject to potential runoff from disturbed areas will be protected with filter <br />inserts. <br />Element #8: Stabilize Channels and Outlets <br />There will be no new outlets. <br />Element #9: Control of Pollutants <br />All pollutants, including waste materials and demolition debris, that occur onsite shall be <br />handled and disposed of in a manner that does not cause contamination of stormwater. Good <br />housekeeping and preventative measures will be taken to ensure that the site will be kept <br />clean, well organized, and free of debris.
