City of Everett
APR 2 9 2021 D
April 27,2021 CITY OF EVERETT
Permit Services
Dear, city of Everett
This letter will, address all the things I was requested to fix in regards to obtaining a
building permit.
In regards to note #1, the drawing has been changed to more accurately show the
existing outdoor storage areas.
In regards to note #2, in the drawing I show the location of the chimney that was
removed on the lower level. 2x4 studs 16" on center where added in orders to make the
doorway a more up to date 32" door
In regards to note #4 smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors are updated in
the office as well as just outside the office. Also I have updated the plans to show the
existing 31"x56" window that is in the office
In regards to note #8, the handrail is original but is being refinished. A post every 4'
with a continuous handrail will support the 200lbs of pressure in all directions. I will
also add some balusters to achieve no more then a 4" gap between the balusters
In regards to note # 11, in replacement of the chimney all lumber sizes of existing
framing where matched with new framing and constructed with more Lap then what
was required
In regards to note #12, once all the plumbing and electrical problems where addressed
the house got 1/2" gwb over existing.
In regards to note #13, Any location of repair what exposed framing received at least
3" of closed cell spray foam insulation with a r-7 per inch rating and E-84 fire rating
which complies with chapter 5 of the WSEC.
Sincerely yours, Taylor Nelson
