You had offered a call back Monday, on
your voice mail that you left for me this past Friday. I would need to please hear from you by 11:00 AM today since I
work in the afternoon. Certainly, tomorrow morning would be fine too if you are unable to call me this morning.
Thirdly, in answer to your question concerning the confirmation of the building marked with the red X as being the
location of the demolition. That does appear to be correct.
Fourthly, I have no intention of rebuilding or replacing the structure in the near future. I do have hopes of erecting a
simple fence at the back of the property. Hopefully, I don't need a permit for that.
Fifthly, I have been unable to log on to eTRAKiT because it tells me my info is "invalid". I tried creating a new account as
suggested by Eileen Hinkley but it tells me that an account already exists.
Lastly, who is C. Bergsma?
On Fri, Oct 2, 2020 at 2:05 PM Terri Jorgenson <TJorgenson@everettwa.gov> wrote:
Hi Peggy,
Before we issue you a demo permit, I was wondering if you have any intent on rebuilding the garage and want to do so
in the current footprint. If you want to rebuild in the current footprint, you will need to go through a planning process
to certify the current setbacks as it was originally constructed. You will need to get this certification before the
structure is demolished. I could issue the demo permit anyway but it may make for sense to wait until you have your
setback certification. Your choice.
The second option is that you can demolish the structure is demolished and if or when you decide you want to build a
new structure, then without the certification, you will have to meet the setback requirements in place at the time of
construction which are currently 0' to the alley and 5' side yard on each side of the building. If you choose this option, I
can issue the demolition permit.
If you have decided that you are not going to rebuild then there is nothing else to do and I can issue the demolition
permit.
Let me know what you decide also please confirm that in the screen shot below the building marked with a red X is the
building being demolished.
03
