Grants and subgrants supported through the STOP Grant Program must meet one or <br />more of the statutory purpose areas, which can be found at 34 U.S.C. § 10441(b). <br />Renewal Application Budget <br />The budget for this continuation of STOP Grant activities must correspond to your currently approved annual <br />budget amount. Goods and services must be proportionate to the grant -funded staff activities and must be <br />direct project costs. Please draft your budget based on the allocation for the function areas — victim services, <br />prosecution, and/or law enforcement — given by your grant manager. Based on prior years of spending, some <br />grantees may not be given the entire allocation. OCVA has the discretion to negotiate any changes to the scope <br />of work and budget. Round budget numbers to the nearest dollar. <br />Digital Signature <br />Recipients may use an electronic signature for award acceptance (instead of downloading and signing the award <br />document with an ink pen). Any of the electronic signature processes available in Adobe Acrobat Reader, or <br />similar software, are generally acceptable. Please use one of the electronic signature processes or print and sign. <br />A typed name only will not be accepted as an approved signature. <br />Determination of Suitability to Interact with Participating Minors Form <br />Determination of suitability is required, in advance, for individuals who may interact with participating minors. <br />This STOP Staff Certification Form is to be completed for new staff. A search of required public sex offender and <br />child abuse websites and criminal history registries and similar repositories of criminal history records must be <br />completed at least every five years to determine suitability to interact with minors. Please resubmit a copy of <br />the form with this application for staff previously verified. <br />Coordinated Community Response (CCR) Team Participation <br />A condition of receiving these funds is mandatory participation in the local Coordinated Community Response <br />team meetings or tribal Coordinated Community Response team meetings, which must meet at least quarterly <br />during the grant period. These meetings may be in person, virtual, or conference call. The intent is to <br />collaborate on victim safety while addressing offender accountability.
