MATCHING OR COST SHARING REQUIREMENTS <br />(Criminal Justice Agencies Only) <br />Tribal Governments and Non -Profit Victim Service providers are exempt from the match requirement. <br />Matching or cost sharing means the portion of project costs not paid by federal funds. <br />The costs of activities counted as match must be directly related to the project goals and objectives. Matching <br />funds are restricted to the same use of funds as allowed for the federal award. If it is not allowable under the <br />federal award, it is not allowable as match. Grantees must maintain records that clearly show the source, the <br />amount, and the timing of all matching contributions. Please complete the table below if your agency is required <br />to provide a match. Your match requirement will be the amount provided to you by your grant manager, <br />unless changes are made to your grant amount.
