ATTACHMENT F <br />ONLINE CIVIL RIGHTS TRAINING <br />(All Applicants) <br />The Office for Civil Rights, Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice offers an online training to <br />recipients of Office on Violence Against Women funding to assist them in meeting their federal civil rights <br />obligations. The online training, which consists of six segments and self -tests, provides an overview of applicable <br />nondiscrimination laws and the general civil rights obligations that are tied to grants awarded by the Justice <br />Department. The training needs to be completed every other year. Our records indicate it is time for STOP Formula <br />Grant recipients to retake the training. <br />Applicants and other recipients receiving these funds in the renewal application must complete the Office of <br />Justice Programs, Office for Civil Rights — Training for Grantees located at: http://ojp.gov/about/ocr/ocr-training- <br />videos/video-ocr-training.htm. <br />There are six modules to the online training; one is optional (see below). You do not need to complete all modules <br />at one time; however, the online training must be finished prior to submitting your application to OCVA.
