NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />1. The Everett City Council endorses the Citizen Advisory Committee's priority and criteria <br />for 2022 and encourages qualified agencies to submit proposals that meet these <br />priorities. <br />2. Program and Projects to be funded with CDBG-CV funds: <br />Public Service Projects (Priority) <br />Funding <br />ChildStrive (Food Security) <br />Address food security in the Casino Road neighborhood of Everett in response to <br />COVID-19 impacts. <br />$37,923.93 <br />Volunteers of America (Food Security) <br />Funds will support a food truck, staffing and food costs for Everett residents in the <br />Casino Road neighborhood. <br />$125,000.00 <br />Compass Health (Housing Security) <br />Funding to support Emergency Motel Voucher Program (EMVP) which provides <br />motel vouchers to homeless individuals and those experiencing housing challenges <br />in Everett in response to COVID-19. <br />$30,811.00 <br />Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County: Hotel Vouchers (Housing <br />Security) <br />Provide hotel vouchers to victims of domestic violence and their families to ensure <br />social isolation, safety, and confidentiality in response to and prevention of COVID- <br />19. <br />$10,000.00 <br />Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County: Emergency Shelter <br />(Housing Security) <br />Provide additional shelter staffing, rental assistance, shelter cleaning costs and <br />administration for domestic violence victims and their families that have been <br />impacted by COVID-19. <br />$87,287.80 <br />Hand in Hand (Housing Security) <br />Funds will be used for Rental Assistance for low -moderate income Everett <br />households that have been impacted by COVID-19. <br />$189,153.52 <br />Interfaith (Housing Security) <br />Provide emergency housing for families facing homelessness. <br />$46,135.20 <br />Snohomish County Legal Services (Housing Security) <br />Provide pro-bono legal services to prevent and aid in evictions and housing <br />mediation for low-income households, with the intent to prevent homelessness due <br />to Covid-19. <br />$60,535.86 <br />Volunteers of American Western Washington (Housing Security) <br />$79,153.76 <br />RESOLUTION <br />Page 3 of 5 <br />
