For 3/16" cable spaced at 4" on center with intermediate bars at 4' on center with 1/4"' guide holes, the cables need only separate/deflect 1/32"' (each over 4� to be out of compliance. It is not clear that the spacing is adequate, with a reasonable amount of deflection, to ensure that t a 4" sphere will not pass through. 12a. The one -hour construction of the partition (listing/detail) should be identified on the plans (not noted on the floor plans, wall section 3/A3.15 or enlarged stair plans on Sheet I-410). 12b. The condition noted in the original letter has not been addressed for the first story. Accessibility 3. Vision light heights in doors on Sheet I-610 do not appear to have been revised. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections requested. Please include a response letter which indicates how the corrections were resolved. The current IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the 2009 "Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities" (ICC/ANSI A117.1). Federal ADA regulations and standards may be more restrictive. These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Traffic, Planning or Fire). All required submittals must be of sufficient detail and information to ensure that the proposed structure will be constructed in compliance with all adopted codes.
