September 8, 2021 <br /> President Stonecipher announced that the Council is still abiding by Governor <br /> Inslee's Healthy Washington guidelines, and as a result, City Council meetings will <br /> continue to be held remotely with all meetings scheduled at 6:30 p.m. each <br /> Wednesday, except the fourth Wednesday of the month when the meeting is <br /> scheduled at 12:30 p.m. She stated the City Council is prepared to open the <br /> Council chambers when public health considerations indicate it is safe to do so. <br /> President Stonecipher stated that public comments from the community are <br /> welcome on items that are up for discussion during the meeting. She noted that <br /> those wishing to provide public comment on agenda items, may call <br /> 1.425.616.3920, Conference ID: 392 358 139#. She asked that comments be <br /> respectful, and remarks limited to three minutes. She added that the Council does <br /> not allow comments on certain issues such as: campaigning of any kind —whether <br /> for or against ballot measures or candidates running for office — is legally <br /> prohibited at the meeting, and comments focused on personal matters that are <br /> unrelated to City business. She stated that members of the public are always <br /> welcome to provide comments or concerns on any matter via email at <br /> Council@everettwa.gov. To comment on an item that is not on the agenda, <br /> contact Council offices at 425.257.8703 for approval. The Council will approve <br /> comments on issues within the Council's authority that have broad public interest. <br /> To submit comments or suggestions on Council processes, contact the Council <br /> offices at 425.257.8703. Upon roll call, it was <br /> found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Roberts, Murphy, Vogeli, Bader, <br /> and Stonecipher were present.
