September 8, 2021 <br /> President Stonecipher opened the public hearing regarding Council Bill 2108-28, a <br /> proposed ordinance amending Title 19 (Zoning) regarding Home Occupation <br /> Development regulations, amending Ordinance 3774-20. <br /> There were no citizens who wished to speak. <br /> President Stonecipher stated Council would be taking public comment and the <br /> recommendation at this time is to extend the public hearing to a later date when <br /> staff is able to address amendments to the proposed ordinance. <br /> Discussion ensued regarding the following elements that need to be amended <br /> prior to adoption of the proposed ordinance: limitations on retail, parking, <br /> employee parking limits, and enforcement of regulations. <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts, seconded by Council Member Bader, to <br /> table Council Bill 2108-28. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Members <br /> Tuohy and Moore who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> President Stonecipher stated the public hearing would remain open to allow time <br /> for staff to revise the proposed ordinance and to present amendments. <br /> ACTION ITEMS: <br /> RESOLUTION - CLARIFICATION OF NEW LAW ENFORCEMENT STANDARDS AND <br /> REQUIREMENTS <br /> Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member Murphy, to <br /> adopt Resolution No. 7689 requesting the Governor, the Washington State <br /> Legislature and State Attorney General assist in providing clarification of new <br /> Law Enforcement Standards and Requirements. <br /> 8 <br />
