CITY OF EVERETT, WASHINGTON <br /> EVERETT POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> Washington State Department of Commerce <br /> Request for Proposal (RFP) <br /> RFP No. 19-31440-1 <br /> LETTER OF SUBMITTAL <br /> The City of Everett Police Department submits to the Washington State Department of Commerce the <br /> attached proposal in response to the request for proposals(RFP number 19-31440-1)1 for less-than-lethal <br /> equipment. <br /> The Everett Police Department serves a diverse community of over 111,000 people2 with major employers <br /> including Naval Station Everett and the Boeing Everett Assembly Plant. The Everett Police Department <br /> believes in building strong and safe communities within the City of Everett and its mission is to work in <br /> partnership with the community to enhance the quality of life and reduce crime through our core values <br /> of integrity, professionalism, and honor. <br /> The Everett Police Department has a twenty-member Special Operations Group, which provides a <br /> professional response to civil unrest or special events while providing protection of life and property for <br /> the citizens of Everett.
