The original contract has a not to exceed amount of $60,000. No additional funding is needed. Funds will come from the Cultural Arts 1% for the Arts Fund 112 5200201410. Project summary statement: The City of Everett's Cultural Arts Commission approved the use of the 1% for arts fund to complete five lighted sculptural pieces on Hoyt Avenue. These five sculptural lights will complete the last stretch of corridor from Wall to Pacific. The project was projected to be completed before the end of 2021, however, due to construction at the Children's Museum, installation of the pea pod light poles will need to wait until Spring 2022. Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign a Professional Services Agreement Amendment with Susan Zoccola to add time for completion for the design, fabrication, and installation of five sculptural pieces.
