such utility shall be credited to and paid into such fund. <br /> All engineering expenses incurred by the Engineering De- <br /> partment in planning, designing, supervising and adminis- <br /> tering any work on the Everett Municipal Sewer System, and <br /> all expenses of maintenance and operation of the Sewer <br /> System and Sewer Department, including but not limited <br /> to all improvements, additions, betterments, extensions, <br /> repairs, replacements, except when the same are financed <br /> by the issuance of bonds, and amounts required to pay and <br /> secure the payment of principal and interest on sewer <br /> revenue bonds and coupon warrants, shall be paid out of <br /> said fund. " <br /> (e) The words "Bond Redemption Fund" shall mean the Everett <br /> Sewer Revenue Bond Redemption Fund created by this ordinance for the <br /> purpose of paying and securing the payment of the principal of and <br /> interest on the Bonds and any Parity Revenue Bonds . <br /> (f) The words "Reserve Account" shall mean the account of <br /> that name created in the Bond Redemption Fund by this ordinance. <br /> Section 2 . That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 3712, adopted <br /> April 1, 1959, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows : <br /> "Section 1 . The following plan for the acquisition, con- <br /> struction and installation of additions and improvements to <br /> and extensions of the system of sewerage of the city is <br /> hereby specified and adopted, to wit : <br /> A. The city shall acquire, construct and install a com- <br /> plete aerobic type sewage stabilization pond on that portion <br /> of Section 16, Township 29 North, Range 5 E .W.M. lying east <br /> of the Snohomish River and all in Snohomish County, Washing- <br /> ton, consisting of a 136-acre primary cell, a 27-acre polishing <br /> cell, earthen dikes, reinforced concrete control structures, <br /> flow meters and recorders, piping and drainage, a reinforced <br /> concrete and concrete block laboratory complete with plumbing, <br /> ventilating and heating facilities and equipped with all neces- <br /> sary laboratory equipment, miscellaneous tools and supplies . <br /> The city shall construct access roads to such area, and shall <br /> enclose the same with protective fencing, and install adequate <br /> warning signs . <br /> B. The city shall acquire, construct and install the <br /> following described interceptors and transmission lines for <br /> the purpose of intercepting the existing major outfall sewers <br /> and transmission of the collected sewage to the above-described <br /> treatment facility: <br /> (1) A twenty-four (24) and a thirty-nine (39) inch <br /> diameter pipes extending from the stabilization ponds westerly <br /> under the Snohomish River to a reinforced concrete diversion <br /> and control structure to be located at the intersection of <br /> East Grand Avenue and the northern projection of Summit <br /> Avenue. <br /> -3- <br />
